Twingate Silent Install (How-To Guide)

Twingate allows secure access controls to be applied to private resources on any network, whether they are on-premise or hosted. How to Install Twingate Silently

Twingate Silent Install (EXE)

  1. Navigate to: https://api.twingate.com/download/windows
  2. Download the TwingateWindowsInstaller.exe to a folder created at (C:\Downloads)
  3. Open an Elevated Command Prompt by Right-Clicking on Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator
  4. Navigate to the C:\Downloads folder
  5. Enter the following command: TwingateWindowsInstaller.exe /qn
  6. Press Enter

After a few moments you should see the Twingate Desktop Shortcut appear. You will also find entries in the Start Menu, Installation Directory, and Programs and Features in the Control Panel.

Twingate Silent Install (MSI)

  1. Navigate to: https://api.twingate.com/download/windows
  2. Download the TwingateWindowsInstaller.exe to a folder created at (C:\Downloads)
  3. Manually launch the TwingateWindowsInstaller.exe
  4. Navigate to: “%LocalAppData%\Temp\nsnABAC.tmp” (.tmp folder name may vary)
  5. Copy the TwingateWindowsInstaller.msi to C:\Downloads
  6. Exit & Close the Twingate Installation Wizard
  7. Open an Elevated Command Prompt by Right-Clicking on Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator
  8. Navigate to the C:\Downloads folder
  9. Enter the following command: MsiExec.exe /i TwingateWindowsInstaller.msi /qn
  10. Press Enter
