GSmartControl Silent Install (How-To Guide)

GSmartControl is a graphical user interface for smartctl (from smartmontools package), which is a tool for querying and controlling SMART (Self-Monitoring, Analysis, and Reporting Technology) data on modern hard disk and solid-state drives. It allows you to inspect the drive’s SMART data to determine its health, as well as run various tests on it. How to Install GSmartControl Silently

GSmartControl 32-bit Silent Install (EXE)

  1. Navigate to: https://gsmartcontrol.shaduri.dev/downloads
  2. Download the gsmartcontrol-x.y.z-win32.exe to a folder created at (C:\Downloads)
  3. Open an Elevated Command Prompt by Right-Clicking on Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator
  4. Navigate to the C:\Downloads folder
  5. Enter the following command: gsmartcontrol-x.y.z-win32.exe /S
  6. Press Enter

After a few moments you will find GSmartControl entries in the Start Menu, Installation Directory, and Programs and Features in the Control Panel.
