  1. Navigate to: https://download.gimp.org/mirror/pub/gimp/v2.10/windows/

  3. Download the gimp-2.10.x-setup.exe to a folder created at (C:\Downloads)
  4. Open an Elevated Command Prompt by Right-Clicking on Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator
  5. Navigate to the C:\Downloads folder
  6. Enter the following command: gimp-2.10.x-setup.exe /VERYSILENT /NORESTART /ALLUSERS
  7. Press Enter

After a minute or so you should see the GIMP shortcuts in the Start Menu, Installation Directory, and Programs and Features in the Control Panel.

Create a GIMP Installation Log File

The GIMP installer offers the option to generate a log file during installation to assist with troubleshooting should any problems arise. You can use the following commands to create a verbose log file with details about the installation.
