XMLA Connect Silent Install (How-To Guide)

The XMLA Connector provides seamless data connectivity between OLEDB for OLAP (ODBO) clients and XMLA data sources. How to Install XMLA Connector Silently

XMLA Connector Silent Install (EXE)

  1. Navigate to: https://sourceforge.net/projects/xmlaconnect/files/latest/download
  2. Download the XMLA_Provider_vw.x.y.z.exe to a folder created at (C:\Downloads)
  3. Open an Elevated Command Prompt by Right-Clicking on Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator
  4. Navigate to the C:\Downloads folder
  5. Enter the following command: XMLA_Provider_vw.x.y.z.exe /VERYSILENT /NORESTART
  6. Press Enter

After a few moments you will find XMLA Connector entries in the Installation Directory, and Programs and Features in the Control Panel. There are no Desktop or Start Menu shortcuts.
