How to Install WorldWide Telescope Silently

WorldWide Telescope Silent Install (MSI)

  1. Navigate to: https://www.worldwidetelescope.org/download/
  2. Select the WorldWide Telescope for Windows download
  3. Download the wwtsetup.x.y.z.msi to a folder created at (C:\Downloads)
  4. Open an Elevated Command Prompt by Right-Clicking on Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator
  5. Navigate to the C:\Downloads folder
  6. Enter the following command: MsiExec.exe /i wwtsetup.x.y.z.msi ALLUSERS=1 /qn
  7. Press Enter

After a few moments you should see the WorldWide Telescope Desktop Shortcut appear. You will also find entries in the Start Menu, Installation Directory, and Programs and Features in the Control Panel.
