How to Install VMware Player Silently
VMware Workstation Player Silent Install (EXE)
- Navigate to: https://www.vmware.com/go/getplayer-win
- Download the EXE to a folder created at (C:\Downloads)
- Open an Elevated Command Prompt by Right-Clicking on Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator
- Navigate to the C:\Downloads folder
- Enter the following command:
VMware-player-xx.x.x-xxxxxxxx.exe /s /v/qn EULAS_AGREED=1 AUTOSOFTWAREUPDATE=0 DATACOLLECTION=0 ADDLOCAL=ALL REBOOT=ReallySuppress
- Press Enter
After a minute or so you should see the VMware Workstation Player Desktop Shortcut appear. You will also find entries in the Start Menu, Installation Directory, and Programs and Features in the Control Panel.

VMware Workstation Player Silent Install (MSI)
- Navigate to: https://www.vmware.com/go/getplayer-win
- Download the EXE to a folder created at (C:\Downloads)
