TextPad Silent Install (How-To Guide)

How to Install TextPad Silently

TextPad 8.x Silent Install (EXE)

  1. Navigate to https://www.textpad.com/download
  2. Download the ZIP to a folder created at (C:\Downloads)
  3. Extract the ZIP file to C:\Downloads using 7-Zip
  4. Open an Elevated Command Prompt by Right-Clicking on Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator
  5. Navigate to the C:\Downloads folder
  6. Enter the following command: setup.exe /S /v"ALLUSERS=1 /qn"
  7. Press Enter

After a few moments you should see the TextPad shortcut in the Start Menu, Installation Directory, and Programs and Features in the Control Panel.
