- Navigate to: https://rstudio.com/products/rstudio/download/#download
- Download the RStudio-x.x.xxxx.exe to a folder created at (C:\Downloads)
- Navigate to: https://cloud.r-project.org/bin/windows/base/
- Download the R-x.y.z-win.exe to a folder created at (C:\Downloads)
- Open an Elevated Command Prompt by Right-Clicking on Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator
- Navigate to the C:\Downloads folder
- Enter the following command to install R for Windows (pre-req):
- R-x.y.z-win.exe /VERYSILENT /NORESTART
- Press Enter
- Enter the following command to install RStudio:
- RStudio-x.x.xxxx.exe /S
- Press Enter
After a few moments you should see the RStudio shortcut in the Start Menu, Installation Directory, and Programs and Features in the Control Panel.
