How to Install ProfiCAD Silently
ProfiCAD Silent Install (EXE)
- Navigate to: https://www.proficad.com/download.aspx
- Download the setup_full.exe to a folder created at (C:\Downloads)
- Open an Elevated Command Prompt by Right-Clicking on Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator
- Navigate to the C:\Downloads folder
- Enter the following command: setup_full.exe /VERYSILENT /NORESTART
- Press Enter
After a few moments you should see the ProfiCAD Desktop Shortcut appear. You will also find entries in the Start Menu, Installation Directory, and Programs and Features in the Control Panel.

Create a ProfiCAD Installation Log File
The ProfiCAD installer offers the option to generate a log file during installation to assist with troubleshooting should any problems arise. You can use the following command to create a verbose log file with details about the installation.

Change the ProfiCAD Default Installation Directory

Disable ProfiCAD Automatic Update Checks
- Open an Elevated Command Prompt by Right-Clicking on Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator
- Run the following command once for each user:
REG ADD "HKCU\Software\ProfiCAD\ProfiCAD\Others" /v update_auto /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f |
