How to Install LICEcap Silently
LICEcap v1.28 Silent Install (EXE)
- Download the LICEcap Installer
- Download the file to a folder created at (C:\Downloads)
- Open an Elevated Command Prompt by Right-Clicking on Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator
- Navigate to the C:\Downloads folder
- Enter the following command: licecap128-install.exe /S
- Press Enter
After a few moments you should see the LICEcap shortcut in the Start Menu and Installation Directory.
Note: There is no entry in Programs and Features in the Control Panel.

You can change the default installation directory by using the following command line parameters. In this example, I’m installing LICEcap to “C:\LICEcap”

How to Uninstall LICEcap Silently
- Open an Elevated Command Prompt by Right-Clicking on Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator
- Enter one of the following commands:
LICEcap on 32-bit System Silent Uninstall

LICEcap on 64-bit System Silent Uninstall
