- Navigate to the C:\Downloads folder

Change the IDA Freeware Default Installation Directory
You can also change the default installation directory by using the following command line parameters. In this example, I’m installing IDA Freeware to “C:\IDA Freeware”
idafreeXX_windows.exe --prefix "C:\IDA Freeware" --unattendedmodeui none --mode unattended |
Suppress the IDA License Agreement
- Open an Elevated Command Prompt by Right-Clicking on Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator
- Enter the following command once for each user:
REG ADD "HKCU\Software\Hex-Rays\IDA" /v "License Freeware version" /t REG_DWORD /d "1" /f |
Suppress the IDA User Interface Telemetry Prompt
- Open an Elevated Command Prompt by Right-Clicking on Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator
- Enter the following command once for each user:
REG ADD "HKCU\Software\Hex-Rays\IDA" /v "TlmConsent" /t REG_DWORD /d "0" /f |
Suppress the IDA Quick Start Prompt
