  1. Navigate to: https://www.perforce.com/downloads/helix-sync
  2. Extract the HelixSync.exe from the helix-sync.zip file using 7-Zip to a folder created at (C:\Downloads)
  3. Open an Elevated Command Prompt by Right-Clicking on Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator
  4. Navigate to the C:\Downloads folder

You can also change the default installation directory by using the following command line parameters. In this example, I’m installing Helix Sync to “C:\Program Files\HelixSync”

HelixSync.exe /S /D="C:\Program Files\HelixSync"

How to Uninstall Helix Sync Silently

  1. Open an Elevated Command Prompt by Right-Clicking on Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator
  2. Enter the following command:

"%LocalAppData%\Programs\HelixSync\Uninstall HelixSync.exe" /S
