How to Install DisplayCAL Silently

  1. Download the DisplayCAL Installer
  2. Download the file to a folder created at (C:\Downloads)
  3. Open an Elevated Command Prompt by Right-Clicking on Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator
  4. Navigate to the C:\Downloads folder
  5. Enter the following command: DisplayCAL-Setup.exe /VERYSILENT /NORESTART
  6. Press Enter

After a few moments you should see the DisplayCAL shortcuts in the Start Menu, Installation Directory, and Programs and Features in the Control Panel.

Create an Installation Log File

The DisplayCAL installer offers the option to generate a log file during installation to assist with troubleshooting should any problems arise. You can use the following commands to create a verbose log file with details about the installation.

Include Desktop Shortcut During Install

The DisplayCAL installer does not include a desktop shortcut by default. If you want the desktop shortcut included during installation, then you can run the following command line switch.

How to Uninstall DisplayCAL Silently

  1. Open an Elevated Command Prompt by Right-Clicking on Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator
  2. Enter one of the following commands:

"%ProgramFiles%\DisplayCAL\unins000.exe" /VERYSILENT /NORESTART

DisplayCAL Silent Uninstall on 64-bit System
