How to Install Avidemux Silently

Avidemux 32-bit Silent Install (EXE)

  1. Navigate to: https://sourceforge.net/projects/avidemux/files/avidemux/
  2. Select the version of your choice under Parent Folder
  3. Download the avidemux_x.y.z_win32.exe to a folder created at (C:\Downloads)
  4. Open an Elevated Command Prompt by Right-Clicking on Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator
  5. Navigate to the C:\Downloads folder
  6. Enter the following command: avidemux_x.y.z_win32.exe /S
  7. Press Enter

After a few moments you should see the Avidemux Desktop Shortcut appear. You will also find entries in the Start Menu, Installation Directory, and Programs and Features in the Control Panel.

Change the Avidemux Default Installation Directory

You can change the default installation directory by using the following command line parameters. In this example, I’m installing Avidemux to “C:\Avidemux”.

avidemux_x.y.z_win64.exe /S /D=C:\Avidemux
