- Enter the following command to Extract the contents of the EXE’s:

- Press Enter
- Navigate to C:\Downloads\Revit_2024_G1_Win_64bit_dlm
- Enter the following command:
Setup.exe -q
- Press Enter

The Autodesk Revit 2024 installer creates a desktop shortcut by default. If you don’t want the desktop shortcut, then you can follow these steps to exclude it.

- Navigate to: C:\Downloads\Revit_2024_G1_Win_64bit_dlm\x64\RVT
- Open the pkg.RVT.xml file with Notepad
- Under the <Configuration> Section update the following line to include the ADSK_DESKTOPSHORTCUT_1=0 parameter
