- Navigate to the C:\Downloads folder
- Enter the following command to Create an Installation Options File:
Apache-NetBeans-20-bin-windows-x64.exe --record state.xml
- Press Enter
- Complete the installation wizard and configure your preferred settings
- Once the installation has completed, you will find the Installation Options File (state.xml) in the C:\Downloads folder
- Uninstall Apache NetBeans
- Open an Elevated Command Prompt by Right-Clicking on Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator
- Navigate to the C:\Downloads folder
- Enter the following commands:
MsiExec.exe /i jdk-17_windows-x64_bin.msi /qn |
Apache-NetBeans-20-bin-windows-x64.exe --silent --state state.xml |
After a few minutes you should see the Apache NetBeans Desktop Shortcut appear. You will also find entries in the Start Menu, Installation Directory, and Programs and Features in the Control Panel.

- Add the following lines:

- Save the file to C:\Downloads and name it: core.properties
